Temperature and Humidity Data Loggers

A data logger (also datalogger or data recorder)  is an electronic device that records measurements, such as temperature or relative humidity, at set intervals over a period of time. Data loggers work either with a built in instrument or sensor or via external instruments and sensors.

Increasingly, but not entirely, they are based on a digital processor (or computer). Often, data loggers are small and battery-powered. This makes them ideal for recording measurements in remote sites or any place where battery power is preferred.

Temperature and humidity data loggers can be a thermocouple or RTD input. They can be single-channel or multi-channel. Models come with or without a display.

Temperature Logging

A temperature data logger (also temperature monitor) is a portable measurement instrument that is capable of autonomously recording temperature over a defined period of time. The digital data can be retrieved, viewed and evaluated after it has been recorded.

Humidity Logging

Relative Humidity Data Loggers display and record temperature and humidity conditions. They are well-suited for use environments where reliable monitoring and documentation of relative humidity conditions are critical, such as manufacturing, processing, and storage facilities.

Wireless Data Loggers

Data loggers with ethernet or wireless interface for temperature, humidity and process voltage and current measurement.

Industrial Applications

The long term recording of humidity and temperature conditions is very important in industries such as healthcare, the pharmaceutical industry, production processes, storage, test facilities, to name a few.

Once temperature and humidity data has been logged, it can be applied to modelling and evaluated statistically. This process provides valuable information on environmental conditions that can ensure and protect product quality.
